  1. Well, I promised... I've got 5 designs on a theme below. The design is simplified a little from the original - the 'No matter what you ride....' has come out because it was all looking a bit fussy. .cc url is on the front, CCE url is on the back, with logos on the shoulders and back. There's the original orange, together with a dusky blue, grassy green, shocking pink, and a rather nice deep red.

    Prices are....

    Short sleeved £30
    Long Sleeved £35

That's all in, nothing more, nothing less. If people are desperate for shorts (either normal, or bibbed) then let me know and I can price that up (they can come as kits with a slight discount on the separate prices), but with the black backs on these black shorts will go fine.

The size chart can be found by clicking here.

Please note that custom kit cannot be returned/refunded, so make sure on the sizing - as a guide I'm going to double-check what size mine is, and suffer the ridicule of publishing measurements here.

If you're interested then email me at anth@citycycling.co.uk with size and colour choice and I'll sort out a paypal request to you for the cost.

Delivery is 6-8 weeks. I'll keep open for orders until Friday 7th December, and order the weekend after that, so the shirts should be with you end of the first week of February at the latest.

    Eek! Colour choices! :-s
Hmm whether to go for saltire blue or CCE "trad" orange? Bike colour is no help as it's black and white/cream :-/

Email inbound shortly (as it appears either my waist is too large or my chest too small :-o

Wow, these jerseys look fantastic! I'll deffo order on (or two!)

Do the long sleeved ones have coloured arms?

  4. The sizing is slightly awkward, but I'd imagine it's all nip-and-tuckable (I'm planning on having the wee bulgey belly bit nipped in (on the shirt!)).

  5. "Do the long sleeved ones have coloured arms?"

    I think so, but I'll double-check.

Should have mentioned as well, they're a full-zip front.

Is it bad that I really quite like the pink one?
Ironic thing is, I'm probably not 'man' enough to wear it, and would probably go for the conservative blue, or red one. They all look really good though!

I'll compare sizing to Endura (I need XL,sigh!), to see what size I might need. If it's Italian sizing I suspect they won't go big enough.

  7. Personally I really like the red - I've obviously got the prototype orange one, so may augment that.

And thanks for the nice comments (here and on email) :)

I'll go through emails each evening and answer any questions, confirm just what's needed, and then sort out the payment links.

Just realised they're half the price of Foska.

Yes that is a most resonable price you've got there. I'm assuming there was some sort of mistake and you forgot to upload the yellow one? ;)

@BC maybe you just need to dive in and insist anyone from CCE on an "event" wear the pink one, then you'll have an excuse ;-)

  13. Yeah, on the machine at home. Will upload tonight!

(but that's it from the spectrum once that one is on!)

  16. @steveo sshhhhhh!

@Smudge This lot don't do caps, but I'm working on something else which I can hopefully get on here to have the same sort of closing date.

Excellent. Orange or red I think.

The red is verging on maroon or burnt umber, so it's bottle or racing green for me...

Anth, what size is your prototype? Looks like I'm an X or XXL...

"Defo want one, but which one?"

There should have been the Henry Ford option.

  26. Okay, my prototype is an XXL.

I'm 6'3", with a 42" chest, and gut between 34-36". The length is pretty good, the fit certainly isn't 'tight cycle jersey-esque', actually lends itself well to a base-layer underneath.

By way of comparison I have a Molteni clone from Prenda's which is XXL (or is it XXXL?) and it's still actually too short to wear comfortably.

I'll check my Foska jersey sizes for further comparison if people have any of those in their wardrobe.

It looks like this on (apologies for the model):

If it goes on over a layer, will you be modelling yours on Fri at PY? If so, I might have a shot just to be sure.

Thought I'd picked a colour but the climber's version is very tempting!

    Posted 12 years ago #
  28. Aha, great idea! I'll just take my top along and people can try it out. Dave you're a genius!

Wow, that sizing is skewed, even for cycling. Normally I am an M but with these it's an XL or XXL. Is the manufacturer Italian? The waist size for S is 26-28 inches? Is that possible for an adult!?

BTW will send in a request once I've had discussions with my fellow purse-holder and wardrobe sharer.

Seriously, Prenda's is even worse (not that their sizing charts make it look that way, but then you get the garment....)
