Nup. Back to work by then but wifework and nursery still off so fewer impediments to leaving the house early.

Sounds good, I'll have a long week next week, 5 days worth of work in 2.

I'll still be in Austria on the 4th.

4th is shiny for me. You might want to bring sunglasses to protect a retina or two from the fearsome hi-viz of my new gloves.

Too early for me, I intend being nowhere remotely near work until at least the seventh!

I'll pop along if family commitments allow. I'm off that day (burning off leave) - anyone interested in a cycle ride afterwards?

I could happily trundle along to the Rule, yush. Any night before the 7th is dandy for moi.

I'll try and make it, but have little apetite for cycling in on a rainy/windy day.

@DaveC - It looks dry tomorrow...

@Amir - How long (time and distance) were you thinking? Would there perhaps be room for a slow one?

I hadn't thought anything beyond it would be nice to go for ride after. We can discuss at the time - see what folk would like to do etc.

I'm in for coffee but have to go to work and have used up all my leave days so alas cannot join for a ride (which would have been very welcome to start undoing all the damage caused by the Christmas cheer and cheese)

I'll only have to work four hours tomorrow, so I could join for some of a long ride or all of a short one.

Another fine turnout, today;s newcomer being BikeTrain, if I recall correctly.

Highlights from this morning were the need for care in choosing and describing usernames.

Entirity of the big central table was filled this morning, requiring a few extra chairs to be pulled in. That's a worthy achievement

My first time too. Amazing number of bikes outside. We rode to Ormiston for yet more coffee an hour later; cheaper but not as good. Very lucky to have such a choice of coffee shops in Edinburgh.

I missed PY today, shame. I had to start the day at KB instead.

Nice to see all for the first time this year. We had a good ride around East Lothian - thanks guys for the company and slowing down for me. And thanks Tom for the cuppa.

So are people up for this, or is the re-use of a year-old thread causing confusion?

I think I'll spin by this morning before work. I'm awake and I've got air in my tyres...
