How about 31st Jan? Thus those who work from home on Friday will be able to come along?

Hrmm.. Did my post get eaten, or do I fail at pressing Reply?

Anyway: since I can't make Fridays for a while, and would rather not sit alone in Pete's, I vote for any day but Friday.

  5. 31st isn't a bad shout. I'm in.

I should be able to come, unless I decide to do the long commute that day.

I'll try to get along to this and bring a rucksack for some of their bread (now that Earthy Portobello seems to have closed).

  15. "now that Earthy Portobello seems to have closed" ?!?!?!?!

What?!?!?! I was there on Saturday and there was no sign of that! Argh!

Well that's a relief. I was there yesterday and only the flower shop at the side was open. She didn't know when or even if Earthy would open again. The same bread is supplied to the Beach Hut on the prom but I'd rather have Earthy back.

@kaputnik: "@Tom I'll try remember to bring that old TdF map along that I promised you for your collection." Excellent. I'll have to make the effort now.

I was going to come but now will be unable to unless I do have a spare inner tube for the Brompton after all - a hold has occurred right next to the valve and my attempts to patch it failed.
