Hello all, we're trying to put together a press release announcing the second Pedal on Parliament and we're planning a photocall outside the Parliament building at 1:30 on Sunday.

Who can make it, ideally with their families? Or if 1:30 is a bad idea what would be a better time on the Sunday, bearing in mind availability of light etc?

    All help greatly appreciated!

Alas, my nearest family is 300 miles due south...but I can dig out my Harrison Park feeder flag and come suitably attired (even if shorts at this time of the year is borderline silly :).

Fantastic guys. 1:30 it is then

Watch out for more POP stuff but the main thing is the launch on Sunday so keep an eye on the website and if you've got blogs, twitter accounts and so on, we'd be grateful for any posts mentioning POP2 ...

I've just realised what the next 4 months is going to be like ...

Due to be 1C with 11mph wind on Sunday afternoon, so I will be wearing a big wooly sweater under my windproof.

Hi all. If you can print and bring along one of Kaputnik's great posters from PoP, that will add some colour to the photos that will be taken!

I take it there was no paddling in the fountains today ...

Thanks to everyone who turned out - you guys are amazing

@sallyhinch. Perhaps no paddling, but according to Strava I cycled straight across one of the fountains to get there...

Thanks to the organisers of this event, I used 236 unplanned calories this afternoon, so can now settle down to a big mug of hot chocolate to make up for it.

Thanks to the 30+ adults and children that cycled round the grass for the photographers from the Herald, Scotsman, Reuters and Edinburgh Reporter.. Hopefully be in the papers tomorrow! And I wondered who that person that was surfing the pond was, Greenroofer!

Sorry I couldn't make it - I was well and truly locked out of my flat after key snapped last night.
