Speaking of PY, in the 1893 OS Town Plan of Edinburgh, it's called Central Meadow Walk. I propose henceforth we abolish references to MMW and it should be TWFKACMW

Good point, though I shall not be there as I shall be on foot and taking the opportunity to walk in past the burgeoning Heronry at Duddingston Loch (must add to Wildlife Highlight thread - shdot, you'll like this as I know you're a Heron fan).

Have seen a heron last 2 mornings in the Niddrie burn, back of Bingham. Good photo op as very close to cycle path.
