It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Mrs ECT has had her eBike two weeks now and LOVING it.
She went for the Orbea Gain F40, a flat bar commuter.
I was allowed to take it to work last Friday. It was a nice ride. The assist up hills and the acceleration from red lights was really good.
Its early days but Mrs ECT's cycle commuting has gone from 7km/week to 70km/week. Hopefully she'll keep that up with the weather improving.
@daisydaisy VanMoof are running S2 ads on the nreaks for Belgium Classics and Amstel Gold etc. Really lifestyle thing. Our cycle sport obsessed lodger is bemused why people ride bikes without drop bars and e-assist. My mission is to get him onto our Danish Steps e-bike. (Currently using Mrs LBs Edinburgh Cadence hybrid as small)

I did have her derny pace me along an empty Carrick-Knowe path last week. That was nice!
I've been back on my e-bike recently cos I had broken bones and the step thru frame and assist are helping me back to usual fitness. It's such a happy luxury to have her as back-up.
As I was heading out the other day, I got stopped by a woman of mature years who wanted to know all about my bike. She had been a keen leisure cyclist in years gone by but arthritis got her. However, she's recently had the afflicted knee replaced and really, really wants to try an e-bike as soon as she gets the green light from her Dr. She was so excited at the idea of being able to cycle again. :)
@daisydaisy. If you don't mind ne asking. How tall are you? I was thinking of getting an S2 but both of us are about 171/172cm, so right at the bottom of the height range, but I prefer the look of the S2 compared to the Xs

@stiltskin I'm 163cm and the bike is far too big for me. I'm perched on top of it and don't feel safe on the roads. I'd say go for the smaller one I'm afraid.

I was cycling through West Lothian up a hill last weekend. Heard a creaking sound behind, and then a wee elderly lady passed me on her leccy. Said that this is great, and that she was on low power. Just getting that boost.
@stiltskin - My wife and I share our Moofy (Vanmoof S2) and we're able to have it at the same saddle height. She's 178cm and I'm 189cm but because of the way our bodies seem to be constructed with equal length legs we're able to share. Happy to let you have a go if you fancy. I commute on it a few times a week to Lochrin Square.
