Roglic slightly more popular than Bernal in the team selection

My lack of sprinters has led me to believe this is a cl8mber’s race

    We're all still on zero?

No, patience, the scores are in and err only Bax San is still on zero. Still time to make that up of course

yeah i didn't bother investing much in a sprinter or green contender

picked degenkolb and he finished outside the time limit so presumably he took a tumble along the way

I went with one sprinter only but he can climb a bit and likely to win green but needed a lead out man who was not there today

@Iwrats, plenty time to catch up before the end, whenever that may be.

Should not have chosen team in hasty and frivolous fashion. Feel bad. Real bad.

Aye Rats, you seem to be doing pretty well from where I'm standing. I don't know if I should be thankful for Porte or annoyed that he stopped me from keeping a clean sheet.

Porte fell off, but got back up again. Apparently hasn’t rained in Nice for two months.

Make sure you watch the highlights very exciting at the end

Some typical error in the late crash that galoot needs to watch out but did not affect the result.

Course did perhaps suit the winner

In the break - Terrible things are happening to donkeys. Is not doing it for me but the sightsavers one is probably going to get my cash. We kids crying and going unnecessarily blind is smack in my guilty conscience sweet spot.

I don't think the voice over guy is that convinced about the donkeys either...

Sounds like highly respected actor David Morrissey who is the husband of Esther Freud? They maybe have donkeys on cousin Emma’s estate in Walberswick?

Dumoulin causing unnecessary crash seems to have knocked the stuffing out of Jumbo Visma.?

All of my chaps are scoring which is funny as I have never even heard of four of them.

They are saying Sagan is finished.

I am backing him this year for a last hurrah. I like him I just never picked him before as it was so Professor Obvious.

Yes the whole thing is on ITV4 through the day with Twrrible things happening to donkeys in the ad breaks and again at 7pm ie now if you are quick you will see the first hilltop finish.

You just missed My boy Tiesj Benoot overcooking the corner at 50mph and slid8ng down the crash barrier and wrecking a bike. He climbs back on though

If he climbs back on it wasn't wrecked? Or he climbs back on and it hilariously collapses underneath him?

@bax San, I mean this in a nice way but have you got a thing about donkeys!? I have a colleague who left home in rural Ireland she overheard her mother describing daisy, buttercup and Arthur as the children she never had.

yeah quite fond of donkeys, gembo-san

suffer eurosport instead of itv4 for most of the live feed, to avoid all the terrible things happening to them

pop back over to ned and dave for the last few km though

I once watched children beat a donkey with a piece of timber. Through binoculars. Thankfully could not hear the blows which would likely have killed me.

I watched the ITV4 highlights last night and enjoyed them. Thought madame would be interested (we have watched the Tour pass together) but no. May have to watch further days on my own.
