A small (and fairly irrelevant) milestone.

Not bad for an experiment that is only a few weeks old.

Inevitably the people who post regularly are a small sub-set of those who have bothered to register - which is a tiny fraction of the number of people cycling in Edinburgh.

But, so far, the quality of contributions is high. The sharing of experiences is particularly valuable - from "What do you take when you go cycling?" to the dangers of the tram lines in Princes Street (with video!).

The tram line issues have been passed on to the council and tram people.

So keep posting and tell your friends/colleagues about the 'new' CityCyclingEdinburgh Forum.

    Only 100?

How is the figure arrived at, because to me when I look at the number of posts in the forum summary it looks like 356 posts (357, now I guess!)?

And still no posts in the leisure category - what does that tell us?!

"And still no posts in the leisure category - what does that tell us?!"

Yeah, was a bit surprised at that.

One reason for this forum was to try to interest 'people who cycle' who perhaps don't think they are 'cyclists'. AND people who don't cycle.

The latter was always going to difficult, but I'm still optimistic about attracting some people who 'just ride a bike'.

Obviously 'people like us' are a bit 'serious about cycling' and 'keen on computers' and (apparently) mostly male....

OK so this Forum is a Failure!
