(Edinburgh) University is hosting a roadshow tomorrow to highlight a very important road safety message to cyclists about avoiding being caught in the blind spot of large vehicles. The roadshow organised by the City of Edinburgh Council's Road Safety Team will be between 11am and 2pm, by Bristo Square. With the help of a 20 tonne lorry (which will be stationary!) cyclists will be invited to sit in the driver's seat to experience first-hand just how extensive the blind spot of a heavy goods vehicle is. I understand there will also be bike related freebies!
Please spread this message far and wide to encourage as much participation as possible.
