Well known entertainer about town Grant Stott - and 'face' of Lothian Buses has just made an embarrassing admission on Twitter -
"got on the 41 last night only to discover my Ridacard had expired. One rather red Pus on the Bus......"
As well as being a genuine bus passenger he cycles too. He took part in last year's Commuter Challenge and is training for Pedal for Scotland.
He's an ok guy and entered into the spirit of the 'race' really well.
Unfortunately his love of bus travel and the occasional cycle has not yet filtered down to other shows on Forth One.
I flicked on the other day before Grant came on to hear a huge moan about incorrect parking tickets.* You won't hear them moan bout cycle lanes (unless they obstruct their cars you know). Still... got to remember this is commercial radio and paid for by car ads.
*Yes I know.... this will lower my status again amongst you Guardian readers! I do listen to other more obscure stuff... really. The Bevy Sisters, McFall's Chamber etc.

Loved that phone-in clip from the Lothian Buses site. The listener spends the first minute raving about how good the app is then at the end they say that they get the 26 bus and it's every 12 mins so you don't need the app anyway.
Ahh, I miss the 26 (but moved to the south side before the tram works made it all bad).
