Colleague reports shiny silver new looking bike dumped in river from Canonmills bridge
Sadly I'm not able to go investigate (nor get wet) but thought if anyone was passing they might recover it and if stolen the owner would be happy to get it back

Perhaps this is an early indicator that we have actually reached the same level of cycling Nirvana as seen in Amsterdam, and CEC wil have to annually dredge Edinburgh's waterways of unwanted bicycles?
Or, this is indeed just a stolen bicycle which needs to be reunited with it's owner...
