My good friends at Location scotland are looking for a tandem to Rent for the day for a photo shoot. I think around the 16th of may. The wanted something art deco?!? but are finding it hard to find a tandem at all!!! I've sent them a link to the helios website to see if that will do as I know a few of you on here have them. They will pay you a fee to rent it so if anyone has a tandem..... shout me up and I'll put yooz in touch. I made some good money last week when they used my van in an advert for HSBC mortgages

Sounds like they're after something more vintage. Try CTC, or Eastside Bikes?

There's some nice tandems on Ebay at the moment (Mercian) - if I had a) space, b) a stoker I'd buy one in a shot

The mind boggles. Hope you were playing the part of the moving-in van and not the warrant sale van!

I had long chat yesterday and mentioned Soul / Eastside and of course the forum.

They want black and Art Nouveau. This is for a French art director. Maybe he's looking for the famous bike designs that Rennie Mackintosh did.

I've offered the Helios but I think the Quetzal would be more interesting... very dark blue... No idea if they want it do do anything other than be a prop.

If it's just a static item then go onto Amazon and buy a TSO (tandem shaped object) and spray it black. add some gold lining and fancy lettering and, voila. instant disposable art nouveau tandem!

I think putting "vintage tandem" into eBay could produce what they're looking for. They'll need a big van to pick up from Englandshire mind you.

There's often a very vintage tandem parked outside an antiques shop in West Linton.

Also, have they tried the cycle museum at Drumlanrig ?
