Didn't get reported, but a cyclist was also knocked down and hurt in this incident. He's fortunately OK, bit bruised and bike damaged. It's the second cyclist down in 5 months on the same stretch of road.

Quite poor visibilty when pulling out of Oswald Rd due to the parked cars on Cluny Gardens. Made more complicated by the parking for Blackford Pond directly opposite.

At the time when I adopted my cover name I was living very close to that junction. Crashes and near misses were a frequent occurrence. The creation of the controlled parking zone in Grange made matters worse by pushing even more parked cars into Charterhall Rd.

from what shuggiet said this morning, I don't think it was any of those things. but perhaps better to leave it to him to say more if appropriate (it may not be).

I know exactly what happened and nobody who hears story will allocate blame to the driver (or anyone else, I might add).
Thank goodness the cyclist is ok.
n.b. as SRD says not really for web, rather f2f if anything.
