Sounds impressive, but when you check the actual data, even No.1 cycling city in the US, Portland has only 6.2% of commuters cycling. Rather like.....Edinburgh.

Well if you look at the Spokes counts, Edinburgh's commuting modal share for cycling is around 15%.
