"LEARNER drivers will be given specialised training on how to safely drive around cyclists in a move being rolled out by the two biggest driving schools in Edinburgh.

AA Driving School and BSM are introducing mandatory requirements that will make all their instructors teach vital skills to learners about
awareness of cyclists."

Excellent. Now who decides what the instructors are taught? I ask because I've seen some truly woeful driving from instructors when they don't have students with them. Not all the time, but once or twice is too often by people teaching others to drive.

I hope the driving schools not only work with Spokes but actually talk to several cyclists to see what they'd like drivers to do and be aware of.
