"You can only do questionnaire if you have access to a motor vehicle!!!!"
Surely the ability to use a hire car constitutes a yes to that one and so opening it up to any licence holder?
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Apparently not -
"
Vehicles
We want to know whether your household owns, leases or regularly uses a vehicle or vehicles. This does not include the use of a vehicle owned by another person, a hire company or the City Car Club.
"
If that's their wording then bicycles are certainly included.
I have a car and a bike so qualify both ways anyway.
OK, hadn't bothered to read any small print - but how are they going to be any the wiser anyway if one chooses to bend the truth?
Had a reply from Andrew MacKay:
Thank you for your e-mail.
We spent quite a bit of time trying to make sure that we had ironed out all of the bugs/issues in the survey. Clearly we didn't get them all. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
There was a presumption that the majority of respondants would see vehicles as being of the motorised variety, (and I would have to admit that we didn't really consider bicycles as an answer to that question) so that if they had no motorised vehicles then they would then enter "None" as the answer for that question. This would then let you proceed to the next question/s. The logic in the survey requires an answer to the question about vehicles, which is why it wouldn't let you only enter a comment.
Obviously you have tried to complete the survey. I would be very much interested to know what you think of parking in your area, even if you are in a car-free development. The more responses we receive the better we can understand what we should be doing to improve parking. If you do wish to complete the survey, can I ask that you pick the option for no vehicles in Q5?
Thanks again. If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know.
(I assume he won't mind me copying his email here).

Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for completing the parking satisfaction survey last year. The main results of the survey were reported to the Transport and Environment Committee on 14 January 2014 and you can find a copy of this report at:
