    A friend of mine posted this old propaganda* film on a certain social network. Gives a really good insight into the idealised view of city planning in Glasgow from the 1960s onwards.

    Most of the high rises, and their shopping precincts, are gone now. The motorways though, have only just been completed.

    Funny how the housing and shopping vision is seen to have "failed", yet the transport vision is seen as a "success". Not least by the likes of Keef Broon...
