Crimbles are coconut macaroons dipped in chocolate. They do a gluten free macaroon without chocolate but with a jammy bit and some rice paper. All v good for eating on the move. Tesco at canon mills used to do a galette biscuit Normandy, style with salt crust round the rim and substantial diameter, haven't seen them for long time. All three items biscuits rather than cakes.

I had a really good borders tart the other day, at Kailze. Packed with currents and nice crisp pastry.
