Completely failed to lock on this morning*.

According to a quick google there was pretty chunky solar flare activity around the same time, which I know can have an effect. I'm intrigued as to whether this is actually the cause, or whether the edge was just having a sulk.

    Anyone else suffer?

No problems with my Garmin Edge, I think. Were you using a phone or a dedicated GPS?

No problems with my Samsung Galaxy S2. Do you live in a highrise area? I setoff home from St James centre and oftern have to trundle down York Place where its more open to find a lock. If not it can sometimes be the red bridge on the NEPN (Crewe Toll) before it locks.

Edge 705. West coast, both within Glasgow and then up the coast from Helensburgh. Failed to sort itself out despite 45 minutes and a few on/offs.

Hmm. See how it behaves later...

My Edge 800 had no problem, also just tested my tablet (Motorola Xoom) with no problems.
