Came across this on the interweb and features Cllr Orr & Chris Brace.

    In Edinburgh: Cycle or Die

Not sure what to make of it.

It would be good to know who the target audience is and what it's purpose is.

I thought I was in that film but was just a guy with my jacket. Hope he did not pay full price

Good video. I'm pretty sure he referred to "road tax", though. VED, man!

Almost every shot in that video shows how appalling conditions are for cycling in Edinburgh

I know what you mean, they seemed to film a lot of it in rush hour traffic, and in the snow??? the chap doing his one day a week at work without the Tagalong refers to the traffic. Seems to be about how good Edinburgh is to cycle in, small city, countryside closely, beach and hills etc

Obviously Edinburgh also has fantastic cycling routes, NEPN, WoL, innocent path etc. that didn't feature in the film?? city centre though is very bad at the moment, also diversions in cowgate as from Friday night? Need to check and probably change route to going through the park which is lovely.

I agree, it makes cycling in Edinburgh look horrible. In fact it makes Edinburgh look horrible. But it is only the truth. They could have filmed it all the the Meadows on a sunny day or something, which would have been wrong and would have been glossing over the reality.

Do you think they did the voice over before they did the filming?
