Saw 3 racks on Gorgie road this morning
outside what was Arnold Clark
these new? seems a weird place to put bike racks?

There's a gym opened up on the corner oppostie. Maybe they want people to cycle to the gym instead of drive. Regualrly come into conflict with cars entering / exiting the gym car park.

The gym has racks at the rear(where the gym entrance is)
So I dont see them doing anything across the road
I'm a member and asked about getting racks by the entrance to the city centre gym
they wouldnt as there were racks are the rear of the building already(i wanted ones round the front that could be seen from the gym!)
So i dont see them doing it in Gorgie
I agree on the car park traffic. it needs double yellows to make a clear line of sight on exitPosted 10 years ago # -
Just to update this
Holyrood boxing & a Yoga company has moved into the building across the road from the gym

New racks outside lovecrumbs cafe on west port, a fetching black, least I think they are meant for bikes.
So what with arnold Clarke and sainsburys, things are looking up for south central - south west
