A lot of us have appreciated thebuddster's contributions to the forum and hard work at the southwestteam - the best social networkers at CEC.

However, thebuddster is moving on to new things.

Anyone want to join us for drinks sometime next week? Open for suggestions of day/time/place (obviously needs to suit him), but definitely thinking post-work beer rather than coffee.

I'm usually up for a meet - the initial suggestion fell into my RSS black hole...

    When and where?

Half pinters are more than welcome. ;-)

Would be good to put some faces to posts if you're able to make it along. Happy to argue about all things cycling and Council too.

I can only be there after 5, but I'll be there. I'll sneak out of work as soon as I can. Have much to discuss.

If it's a 'names to faces' affair I can scrape in for around 5. I don't know anyone though so I'll likely have to wander about looking clueless until I work out where the lot of you are.

I'll be closer to 5 too, most likely.

k'nik and gembo look like 'typical cyclists' whippet thing. buddster has tattoos.

maybe best look under tables for ortleibs

I will wear marmite top, should make it easy unless someone else has one on too, they are quite common. Guy yesterday had double take at me in juni green as we were both in team tunnocks colours. Kaputnik has given up Lycra for the merino of vulpine.

Just tried to Google images of myself, but I fly below Google's radar!

In the absence of a pink carnation, the yellow pannier below table will be the giveaway as SRD suggests...

I can wear my Council badge if that helps identify me. But only until I buy a drink. ;-)
