Actually, it was Saturday, but Saturday was today on Saturday.

Anyway, cycling past Drem alongside the railway, my thanks to the driver of the "binliner" train heading back to Edinburgh (after dumping it's load of refuse on the good citizens of East Lothian) for indulging my childish "blow your horn" hand action by loudly blowing his horn.

Given he blew the horn loudly, how would he have gone about blowing it quietly, had he wanted to?

slightly ot, lots of small, and not so small kids stand on motorway bridges and do the same to me when in my lorry,if I am in a decent horn equipped vehicle (air horns!)then the look of joy on the faces of the kids is a great thing ! and yes they wave and jump up and down as I blast away waking up shift workers, frightening cats and dogs and disturbing the televisual viewing of locals !!!!and the kids look happy too !
......twas a foggy day on the 6th of may, in a scammel, haulin bricks..............
    perhaps not !
