It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I've always found their range of beers to be reasonable.
We took serious beer-drinking friends from Leeds there a few years ago and they were _very_ impressed with the full range of Samuel Smiths, which they said was quite unusual.
For a reliable source of interesting/good local ales, I strongly recommend Dagda on Buccleuch St. They always have three good locals on tap, and they change regularly. It is also quiet and friendly. Well-worth a visit (some of you may remember it as the Proctor's)
