The bridge in Glenbrook road is getting worked on, the road is closed to traffic but pedestrians can still get through.

Glenbrook Road closed but passable

Started yesterday, we saw the signs on our lap of the pentlands good to know passable

No, we were going so fast past the sign that just saw the glorious twelfth date

That is lucky as gives another way out and in to Balerno. Very large signs flashing tht the A70 will be closed nightly from 7pm to 6am from Sun 8/th Sept. quite bizarre as completely closing a small stretch of road from newmills to bridge road start will cause long detours. It is set to last 4 weeks. It may just be Sunday nights but not sure. Can't see buses coping with any of the detours as they have hills of some steepeness
