    Just announced on Radio Scotland...

Lesley Hinds says it should be not too expensive...

Anyone heard about this? Maybe some new jobs going with a free transport pass.

    Also...

    They'll need a new logo!

Transport for Edinburgh, hmmm - name sort of rings a bell, oh, yes - Transport Initiatives Edinburgh. Well, there's a solid foundation for success - what could possibly go wrong?

Wants to more for pedestrians - 'don't have campaigners, like cycling'

    'Wider pavements in city centre'.

I was paraphrasing. Probably didn't use word campaigners.

I don't think that Spokes and LS are entirely comparable.

Anyone got any examples of LS doing any campaigning?

I'd love to know about it.

I don't mean some advertising gimmick. I mean proper engagement with local level issues like Spokes does so well. and like the 20s plenty campaigns do.

@SRD they were looking for local champions recently - apparently it's 'in beta' so hasn't been widely publicised

She said there would be integrated ticketing, and that the tram ticket would be £1.50 in the city, same as the bus as a result.
