My bicycle was stolen last week in Edinburgh.
It's a LAMBRETTA Li 126 Limited Edition (no 311 out of 500), with a black tourist dx rack on the back.
It is quite a distinctive bike (Photos here: http://uk.lambretta.com/collection/bikes/Collection/Bikes/Li126mens.aspx )
so there is a small chance you or your friends might spot it around Edinburgh. If you do so, please call the police.

Presume you've reported it the police.
Bikes do get found, so it helps if it's 'distinctive' - and you've given police a good description.
Hope you get another bike if this one doesn't turn up.
Whereabouts in edinburgh are you?
I would suggest getting a flyer around to the second hand bike shops - Soul Cycles, Eastside bikes, etc. And keep a look out on Gumtree, ebay, etc.
