Which way into Balerno? Lanark Road West from Currie direction?

Yes, from newmills road junction to the junction of lanark road west and bridge road. For short stretch will mean big detour at currie for cars down to long Dalmahoy then away along to ravelrig hill or similarly from currie up to the high farm road and along. Should leave decent stretch car free for the bikes on lanark road west

Hmm, better lay off my Strava attempts at the descent to old Currie from the farm!

You have until Sunday night at 7pm. If there is a strava section for the descent the times must be bunched? The ascent would have more stretched out data? Quite a steep mother
