Several sets of traffic lights on the Quality Bike Corridor are currently dark:

Mayfield Road at West Mayfield / Fountainhall Road

    Causewayside at Grange Road

    Crossing of Buccleuch Street

The ones at the big junction at the Meadows were working when I went through a few minutes ago, thankfully.

Our uni computing division says "We have reports of a widespread power outage affecting Buccleuch Place, Causewayside and other areas."

I was in the garage next to the bike station when all of its light went out. Popped into the bike station and thought that it seemed very dark Then had to go through the non-functioning junction at Causewayside.

Should have put together all of the clues and realised that it was a power cut!

I popped out to get a coffee given our kettle was inoperable thanks to said power cut and couldn't quite believe it when I saw a truck zooming through the junction at Newington Rd and Minto St.

The lights go down for a few minutes and all of a sudden we're in Mad Max territory...

What is the quality bike corridor? I keep seeing it mentioned but don't have a clue as to where/what it is.

Ah, now I can see why most people don't think it's much good, for any bits of those roads I know, the cycle lanes are not what I'd describe as "quality".
