I'm torn between converting wee blue floofy's front end to disc/dynohub or drum/dynohub.

Disc gives the option of shifting the lights over to mileomnomnometer if I ever get a hankering for night audax, but drum is a monkeytonne cheaper.

I would be most obliged if you good gents could feed my back with regards to how your drums are beating.

I've had an SA drum brake generator on the front of a Pashley for 3 years. Still works just fine, haven't had to touch it.

I've never used a disk brake so I don't know how the stopping compares. Schmidt hub would probably be a bit lower drag but… it's on a Pashley.

I've noticed my first and most used dyno hub getting more noisy the past few months. No noticeable drop in light output or increase in resistance. Reckon that's about 3 or 4,000 miles.

Drum brakes are great. I have one that I've not used much but it works really well. Nothing to choose in braking performance and that's entirely separate from the electricity.

Happy to build the wheel for you if you like but really you should build it yourself for the full, regular, dearie me I built that, effect.
