British Cycling verses CTC

    Another move by BC onto CTC territory. My natural allegiance is with the latter but to be honest they are looking increasingly ineffective. If BC can win the ear of Government and Local Authorities then good luck to them. I hope they remember to include Scotland.

    I wonder if 'British' Cycling is going to include Scotland at all in this, they have an agreement with the SCU that its the latter that runs the racing here. I don't see the SCU appointing an infrastructure expert, and CTC Scotland is just on a best endeavours voluntary basis. Allied to the anti-cycling attitude of the SNP, no wonder Scotland has such poor cycling provision.

    Unless I'm much mistaken, that appears to be an argument for Scottish devolution in both British Cycling and CTC.
