For those with an interest in collecting bikes... or adding to their existing collection. Hand built, in Scotland. It is rather beautiful.

Dear Santa. I know it's only September and this is considerably more expensive than anything you've ever brought down my chimney before but I've been a very good boy and I think the last time I asked for a bike was about 1987...

All inspired by Scotland’s roads, trails and mountains.

I'm really not sure what this means. Are they a bit bumpy, littered with pot holes and you find orange peel and sheep poo on the top?

    Perhaps it's just marketing guff.

I think it's marketing speak for "room for full mudguards inbetween the stays"?

I've got a Dave Yates that can do that but it wasn't described as being inspired by Lincoln.

Aw c'mon, they are lovely. If I had £2100 I would buy it. The other two road bikes look fab. Steel frameI do not have. Also based in airdrie (I made tht bit up, to fox wee folding bike, but they are based in central scotland)

I was going to say that there are no other bikes in Airdrie… but I've seen a red Brompton. Twice.

Am I right in thinking that Shand is now Scotland's only bespoke frame builder ? And that you'd have to venture as far as Yorkshire to find an English one ?

Shand are a great company. Really passionate about riding and about their frames. They are also going to be involved in one of the new Hoy bikes which is pretty awesome!
