    As you may know, we've been busy transforming land between Falkirk and Grangemouth into a brand new beautiful outdoor space. You might have even passed by noticing the bustle of activity from busy construction workers in fluorescent jackets and buzzing machinery behind gated fences.

    Well, the Helix is coming along nicely and we want you to be the first to see our handiwork!

    ...

    Although the project is not fully complete, we want you to be the first to see and explore your brand new public Helix park.

    So why not join us for our first ever Helix Day, on Saturday 14th September, from 1pm - 6pm?

    As a horse rider, you'll want to keep clear of the busy areas. Consult our website for info on the best riding route, and please make every effort to clear up behind your horse;

    Do horse riders do that?

    did anyone else go ? I had some of oor yoof group there, directing and handing out site maps, it was a great day !lots more people than predicted, LOADS of people on bikes, rangers/staff on bikes,kayaks on water , burgers etc etc etc.Looks like it will be a genuine asset to the area, good open space and some interesting art conceptions, although they wont stay there !

    Why not do it this Saturday instead when we are supposed to be meeting our brethren from Glasgow at Falkirk wheel?

    Don't think rod Stewart will influence canal traffic. Falkirk stadium nice, early rod prior to Atlantic crossing when he worked with Martin quittendon quite good. Five wives later he is back where he started. He should reflect on his own lyric I wish I knew what I know now when I was younger
