Cyclo-cross at Inch Park this Saturday

    There will be swarms of small cyclists whizzing round Inch Park behind Cameron Toll this Saturday starting at 14:00 when ERC Juniors hold their cyclo-cross event.

    Races for age groups from 8yrs plus.

    Entry on-line preferable but also possible on the day.

    The ERC Inch Park Cyclo-Cross is a youth only cyclo-cross event organised by the ERC Juniors. It's an ideal introduction to cyclo-cross for those who have never raced before and a perfect warmup event to the Scottish CX series for experienced riders.

    There will also be on the day entry with sign on opening at 1pm.

    Turns out there is an under eight race as well (original post implied over eights).

    Okay, I don't get it. How can there be kids registered as belonging to ERC for the under8s race, if the ERC website clearly states you must be over 8 to join?

    I would have taken K along to their sessions if I'd known it was an option.

    Alternatively, I thought she might enter the race, as it would just be for fun - presumed mostly younger siblings of ERC members.

    But neither appears to be accurate.
