Stolen Mountain Bikes

    So the Portobello area crime spree continues unabated. I had two mountain bikes stolen from my locked garage last night. Details via the attached links. Please keep an eye out - the thieves just dumped the stolen bikes they arrived on (stolen a couple of days before) so this is probably just for kicks rather than being stripped down and passed on. Bike thefts and house break-ins seem relentless in the east of Edinburgh. It's like living in a war zone.

    Ouch!

    Was it obvious how they got in and got the bikes out?

    Gosh, hope you get them back. Thought a kiddie seat might have been a good theft deterrent up until now!
