Anyone else see Motorway Cops on BBC 1 last night?

My favourite story was of the Lorry Driver, caught using his iPhone while driving a 44 ton truck. He'd already had his licence suspended and had managed to accumulate a further nine points since getting it back.
Rather than send him to court to face the judge, they used their 'professional discretion' (aka took pity on him because he'd just got divorced and was looking at pics of his kids on his phone) and let him off with a caution.
Doomed, we are.
