Silver car parked in the bike lane on double yellows blocking traffic. Fairly gormless looking driver sitting behind the wheel window down... I said "mate yer parked in a bike lane on a double yellow line blocking traffic". He actually said "ah puy road tax" I said "maybe but it doesn't give you more rights on the road than anyone else" He said "How does it no likes?" I had to leave.......

Maybe he's getting it confused with Oaf Tax (or Numpty Excuse Duty).

Sums it up really: he pays "road tax" so he can break the law whenever he likes. It's more tham moronic, it's representative of entitlement culture, the nihilistic war cry of the "hard pressed" whatever that he (sometimes she) is getting a raw deal, so in return f**k everyone else.

If only there was a snarky version of Wonderful Life where the guardian angel showed individuals of this ilk a world where people who paid more tax than them got more rights.

"Officer! That man just set fire to my car because he said he was cold!"
"Yes sir, but I've looked at his P60, and I'm afraid there's very little we can do."
