Yeeehaa. I've got a SORNed Volvo in the driveway but this estate isn't finished yet so the roads might still be private property and I could legally park the car on the street.
Even more fun I could fire it up and drive the smoke belching beast around...

I've noticed in many places on the outskirts of London where they have parking restrictions from 12-2pm (only 2 hours) to prevent people from parking there all day to commute the rest of the way in by public transport.

The differnce is we have Park and Ride, where people can do that for free.
