(last few days actually) Was me - about three times. I am a bit sleep deprived at the moment and I have walked out in front of cyclists which I didn't see... thankfully I don't think I caused too much inconvenience, I am just annoyed at myself. The light at the weekend didn't help greatly when it got very dark mid afternoon - I think I may have almost walked into chdot - very sorry about that....

Three workmen walking away from me and blocking the towpath just west of Gibson Terrace this morning. I rang my bell at the usual distance and aimed for the largest gap, between the right hand workman and the wall. Unfortunately, that workman moved further into that space while the others didn't move, so I had to brake to a halt - as I did so the workman that had moved further into my way turned and spotted me, uttered an expletive and pressed themself against the wall to try to avoid the collision (although I did stop in time) before then apologising for getting in my way. I said 'no worries' as I set off while the other two just laughed at their colleague.

Heading west from Polwarth I then encountered a dog walker who was throwing a ball along the towpath for their dog to run and collect. It wasn't overly busy ahead of them, but they made no effort to check if anyone was coming up from behind. I suggested that it wasn't the best place to be throwing a ball for their dog as I cautiously overtook.

Coming along George Street last night when someone came sprinting out of the parked cars without even remotely looking to the left. Heavy braking, a swerve and a bell ring before they noticed. That one got the heart rate up.

    Got to love drunk people…
