Spare dynamo connector?

I seem to have lost a dynamo wire connector (the piece that holds the wires onto the hub and you unplug if you take the wheel off).

Does anyone have a spare? It's the standard Shimano fitting.

Would just buy another but they seem to cost > 10% of the cost of a new dynamo after shipping, which makes me think soldering wires onto the hub and then fitting them with spades for a few pence would make sense...

£2 on Spa Cycles. Depends what your hourly rate is if it makes financial sense to do a bodge.

You could try bicycleworks as they have been able to order any random Shimano spare part for me in the past out the trade catalogue, include it in their next delivery, no postage fees.

Dave, if you find a good supplier can you add a few ~3 for me please? I'll split the postage costs and can meet me somewhere convenient.

I got mine from ebay for a couple of pounds delivered after the lbs reckoned it would take months for them to get one in stock.

Edit: Ebay seems to be £4 delivered.

edited edit: this is chap I bought mine from, quick enough, though I've had it a few years now.

I have bought a light from Pr*ctical Kycles in the past, but I really have to take issue with these internet sellers who charge ~£2 to pop something as big as a thumb nail into a jiffy bag and post it to you!

I'd get one if I was buying something larger as it would be no extra cost (if you don't include the £2 for a larger item), but not on its own.

Perhaps we should get a 'Winter Lights bulk purchase' thread up and then order everything in one go and collect from one central point when the lot arrives?

All things have costs, bag, post, time. £1.30 seems fair given the stamp price will be ~60p, price your time to go to the LBS and try to explain what you need its a bargain after the first 5 minutes of blank looks.

Dave, or anyone else? Did you get any of these Connector Cap Covers? I could do with a few for a coulpe of small powersupply projects. If not does anyone want to come in on a bulk purchase?
