I'd like to add my thanks too (sorry a bit late) - I've learnt a lot through being here, and it's really nice that there are tangible things like meeting folk this morning... this is definitely a great thing to be a part of.

Are we doing a Thing to celebrate the 27th?

Cramond/Silverknowes?
Posted 11 years ago # -
I would say yush. A pootle around the NEPN is always welcome.
Posted 11 years ago # -
We could go mugger-hunting on the NEPN :D

An able, bright child who often finds opportunities to help. Strong writing skills and good with ICT. Can be a bit too chatty, and sometimes rather cheeky.
Having made solid progress in nursery, CCE should be well prepared for Primary 1 next year.

I'm still cycling in Edinburgh after all these years - so thanks CCE for the encouragement and help and laughs! It wouldn't have been possible without you.

An explore along the NEPN to Silverknowes would be dandy.
Can bring a paper boat to launch on the Almond.

Start at NNM/MMW and visit some infrastructure?
Posted 11 years ago # -
Might be able to join you, though I'd only be able to swing a short pass and probably have to bring a long a short passenger.

How about an evening of bike-ninja vigilantism in Portobello? (and the pub)
Posted 11 years ago # -
I'd love to join you but I'll be down in Gala for an audax.

+1 for the pub in Porty

The Dalriada has a nice big beer garden for bike storage, and is on the prom.
Posted 11 years ago # -
Yep, the Dalriada also has wee side rooms.
Dont know/think if we'd have to book on a Sunday evening.Posted 11 years ago # -
Will be in the borders with Amir, getting rained on I think!
Posted 11 years ago # -
I am more worried about the wind, DaveC, and not yours!
Posted 11 years ago # -
I'll just hide behind you, nothing new here!! :O)
Posted 11 years ago # -
I'd be quite up for a morning ride out to Cramond depending a bit on what time...
good luck in the Audax Dave and Amir - much respect...

11:30
Passing through Haymarket Jug Handle about 11:50
Optional visit to Cramond Island.
Optional coastal tour to Leith and Porty.

I'd offer to go as someone's stoker, but I'll need to work :(
Posted 11 years ago # -
You can work in the extra clocks go back hour.
Posted 11 years ago # -
This Sunday 11.50 at the Haymarket jug handle? Is anyone committing? I am out for meal the night before but happy to swerve drinking as out on cycle?
Posted 11 years ago # -
"This Sunday 11.50 at the Haymarket jug handle?"
To nearest minute.

11:25 from Curriehill

If others are actually saying they are going I can aim to be there, or in the Starbucks or buying my ticket to Glasgow for Monday at 11.49 which after all is 12.49.
I wish the clocks did not go back as would prefer wiggle room at night. The farmers of the far north are in near total darkness with or without the clocks, it is quite an old fashioned system in my view to put the clock back.

"it is quite an old fashioned system in my view to put the clock back"
Permanent GMT+1 for Scotland?
Posted 11 years ago # -
That might work?
Posted 11 years ago # -
Apologies I have to be back for something at midday so will probably be heading back exactly as you're leaving.... shame - I would have enjoyed that muchly.
Posted 11 years ago # -
Oh - this weekend! I'll be away. :(
