All of it, most of all the last bit, chdot. Was having a bit of fun with:

apps that will satnav into your ear

Visions of mini drone apps loaded with route directions satellite navigating into an ear tickled me was all. Pedantry because I knew what you meant but nonetheless I found it a funny (ha ha, not strange) turn of phrase!

I'll mosey on over, being as I am in need of burning annual leave days before the end of t'month.

Messrs Dave C. and W.Pig, I shall come bearing spike packs and dynamo connectors. I was about to say remember cash, but I'm fairly certain there's a machine in the Sainsbury next door, so really this is a reminder to myself to bring change.

Coolio, I'd forgotten about these. Cheers. I'll have cash with me.

I'm hoping to make it on Friday. If I do, I should have a new frontlight to show off, supported by something black and shiny and made of 725 steel.

    Sunrise 8:16

    Should be fine

Breeze might take the edge off 'warmer than last few days'

Gargh, sucked into a conference call at 07:30 that is still going on with actions flying out left right and centre. Unfortunately no longer going to be able to make it. :(

Sorry - couldn't make it. I had a frustrating first ride on my new set up as the new light's batteries failed before I'd even started. Managed to get in just with some other half charged rechargeables. Hope I can get it working properly.

I was looking forward to showing off the new steed + light. Oh well ...

Massive turnout!! I'd already removed my Brompton before chdot took his photos. Nice to see all you gentlemen :) and nice to meet EddieD, Greenroofer and Algo (and somebody else new I think...)

I made my train, which I thought I'd missed. One day I will work out which is the last possible train to get in order to make my 9:30 meeting...

  20. Lovely to see loads of folk this morning - we do tend to break up into factions when there are so many people, but lovely to chat to fimm (there's never normally the time!), Eddieh, Greenroofer, Smudge, Eilidh (? whose actual username I can't find at the mo, d'oh!), Dave and algo for most of the morning, and also catch up briefly with Laidback, Uberuce and chdot. Everyone else I think I at least managed to say hello to, except kaputnik, who managed to sneak in unseen by me (despite sitting directly across) and was gone again before I knew it.

I also declare the big green cake (the name of which also eludes me) to be fab.

I was unfortunately wrapped in my duvet catching an extra hour of Z's as I've got to head to London with the SO this weekend for a weekend of activities (because spending 2 days a week down there isn't enough seemingly - I pay to go there in my own time now as well ;) )

SOrry to have miswsed you -= some nice bike pron there too! Sorry to have missed the Flying Sloth.

In a discussion with Uberuce et al I referred to a list of Christmas gifts for cyclists which I thought someone on here had linked to. I don't think they had, which is why Uberuce was looking a bit confused.

    Here's the list

I'm quite taken with the reflective shirt and the bike with tiny wheels.

Great to see so many folk and to meet fimm, smudge, greenroofer, edd1e_h, daisydaisy and chdot for the first time, and chat briefly to WC , Kaputnik and Dave - sorry I didn't managed to say hello Roibeard, laidback, uberuce et al properly down the other end of the table. Very nice way to start the day...

@greenroofer much better than most such lists. I really like those leather gloves. I know someone with the helmet. we use a plastic filter cone, ceramic seems a tad nicer....(but doesn't appear to be available in UK?)

So many peoples, and I was late and had to leave early, so my apologies for sneaking in, scoffing 2 buns and then running off.

I've read the link and watched the video, but I still look a bit confused by the mini-BMX. That said, if you do get one for Jinglemas, I entirely beg for a shot.

@Uberuce. I don't recall saying that it had any point, and I'm not convinced that I'd like to spend £149 of my own money on one, but, like you, if I come across someone who's got one (regardless of their age) definitely I'd like a go on it.
