    I was just 32 counts early to be the 100,000th cyclist to trigger the MMW counter so far in 2018 a little before 9am this morning. If only I had faffed a little longer; having said that, I would probably rather be 99,999 than 100,000.

    You could have ridden back and forth over the sensors a number of times?

    @Frenchy @unhurt I think I would probably have caused some near misses, if not actual collisions with fellow cyclists and/or pedestrians, had I attempted to cycle repeatedly over the sensors until the special count was achieved. I suppose I could have pulled over after spotting the count from a distance and carefully timed my pulling away again had I thought about it, but I obviously didn't care enough to realise.
