:S Hope things aren't too serious. Thoughts are with his family and the bus driver.

Damn. As Zenfrozt says; thoughts with the cyclist, his family and the driver.

Wonder what the bus company was.

I heard from a witness that the cyclist came off first then hit the side of the Lothian Bus, rather than the bus hitting him first. No doubt all will become clearer in due course.

    Tram tracks related I wonder?

I really hope all will end well.

I haven't seen anything else in the news -- does anyone know what happened? I cycle past there twice a day so it'd be nice to know if there's anything else I need to watch out for to stay safe.

They're ok thankfully. No serious injury. (mistake in the tweet as they meant to say bike and bus)

My Dad is a bus driver & he said he'd heard the guy got caught in the tram tracks then hit the bus. He thought the cyclist died as the road was closed for so long. Luckily it looks like he's ok. Tram tracks are proving to be a nightmare :-(

I wonder if this accident and the others like it is going to lead to cycling being prohibited to try to reduce insurance claims? Hopefully this cyclist is OK?

Does anyone know if Manchester or Dublin has had the same issues.
