I was browsing Youtube and spotted this video. Since London and the safety issues there have been in our thoughts, I found this guy's attitude particularly bad. Looks like the sort of guy who works in "The City" and thinks he's the big man for leaving his Jag or Range Rover at home in the suburbs whilst polluting the countryside the rest of the week. I'm stereotyping but something tells me I'm not far wrong. Either way, prat of the highest order.

Talking of stereotyping, you'll get a surprise at the end! ;-)

one thing I would say(for everyone)
If a cyclist/person comes back to you like that. I dont recommend straddling the bike
if they come up and take a swing,it leaves you with a weak base.
Of course you have the reverse if you dismount of looking like you want a fight

He said he did not jump the red light, which is very odd as he clearly jumped the red light, then he said it was perfectly fine to do what he did. Whilst the film shows severaljoggers taking the green man . Then he says the guy shooting the film was giving cyclists a bad name.

    Very skewed view of reality.

    Film maker stayed calm.

    Scary stuff

Oh, I think your man was enjoying himself there. The little waggling 'come on' fingers at the bottom left when the guy turns back. He wants something to happen. I doubt he'd have been disappointed if the Brompton man had turned nasty.

I have little doubt he was licking his lips at the thought of having something to post on Youtube but it doesn't excuse anything the RLJ does from start to finish. Some camera users definitely go looking for conflict to record but it's not as though the camera guy induced the RLJ to go through the red light.

No, he didn't make him jump the light but his comment was plainly intentionally loud enough to be heard by the guy, perhaps in the hope of a reaction. Anyway, I don't really care about either of them. My main thought was that custard's comment seems to assume the cameraman wants to avoid being hooked and I'm not so sure that he does.
