  1. So my replacement X frame has been delivered to my other half's work. Except she's in Glasgow today and tomorrow. And frankly. I want the frame to simply put in a corner of the room and stare at.

Only way I can get it home is if I can get a cargobike to go past her office tomorrow evening...

(Does the Bike Station hire out the Bullitt? Have tried and 8-Freight, and would love a Bullitt for a day!)

    Put it over your shoulder...

  3. I've done it before, granted. Might be an option, though less keen in dark commuting traffic... Hmmm, some decent off-road sections between her office and my house...

"less keen in dark commuting traffic"

    Sensible.

Probably less windy tomorrow than now.

8Freight can filter better than some carrier bikes.

I have a trailer in a shed approx 1 mile from the position of the frame...

  6. Ooh, now there's an option. Need to make sure there would be someone in the office when I'd be spinning by, and would actually probably be tomorrow. I'll give you a shout if there's a possibility!

I don't understand....surely only a car or van would be capable of transporting anything bigger than a pint of milk??

Pino? Not a cargo bike, but available to the timescale specified and proven to be usable for this purpose.

Granted, a trailer or cargobike might be the better option, but you know you've got a fallback so that your staring time isn't impeded or reduced....

Likewise LB has a Carry Freedom that I'm happy to lend to forumers. Also got a bigger trailer with drop sides. Maybe want to sell.

I'd let you borrow my Ute, excep that I'm up north all day tomorrow. And the next day, and the day after that...

My Carry Freedom and 84 litre jobbie are likewise available, assuming you can get to my flat at 1-ish.

I really should get round to bodging a better bike carrier onto it. Must be some broken roof racks around.
