Interesting piece. The HGV driver and cyclist swapped places for city travel. The driver said he had a newfound understanding of cyclist behaviour and proximity; the cyclist realised the extent of lorry blind spots and vowed to make sure she stopped in visible positions at junctions. Nothing about staying behind HGVs in traffic until it's safe to pass.
Phone vote was 51:49 against banning HGVs from city centres at peak times.
