Dear all, we have all wondered with incredulity at the actions of some drivers, and this wee article helps to demystify what is going on at times.
Its quite concerning but does as i say, explain a lot.

The smartphone generation (and I'm not pinning an age on that) need to learn the phone may be smart, but it's not smart to use it at every opportunity.

I didn't put it in Rubbish Driving, although it would have been at home there, but I think mobile use is the most likely explanation for the person that had failed to see me indicating to move from greenway to general lane prior to a right turn, failed to see the traffic island at this turn and therefore tried to overtake, wobbled a bit trying to 'push' me back over to the left, then briskly decelerated without any honking.
