Just heard from a customer that their Helios tandm bought one year ago has been stolen.

    * Black (like all Helioses) - waiting on additional distinctive stuff and where it was taken from.

I always assumed the niche nature of the Helios made it highly unlikely to be taken.

Will keep an eye out for it & and make double sure I lock mine...

This is a bit useless without any info Dave! I for one am not going to approach any tandem riders on such a cycle in case its kicked! With out any distinguishing marks I'd be very unlikely to see the stolen bike. I'd be unlikely to call the polic either as I have no idea whose bike is stolen.

This is a bit like saying look out for a stolen Peugeot! [full stop]

Get more info, and update this thread.

eeek! like hankchief, i've always figured they had a relatively low attraction to thieves.

DaveC - sorry for lack of info - I was hoping for more by now.

    This is all I have:

Our Helios that we bought from you 2 years ago has been stolen... Just in
case someone brings it in to you I thought I'd better let you know.

The frame number is P10173180 and it is an Alfine 8 version.

Why I put it up was the chance of of someone cycling such a machine with saddle too low or with casual non yellow or red cycling clothes. As it's a black bike in the dark it really is a long shot I know.
