If I'd done this on the ride this morning I'd have had a tail wind all the way in!

Doing it on a closed road? It's his life, he can do what he wants. On an open road (even a quiet one)? Muppet. They don't show how close he came to being flattened by the truck coming down as he descends at the end!

Think I'll stick with our "adopted local boy" Danny McAskill :-)

@ Focus - aye, a valid opinion, fair enough...

I too rate Danny M very highly, always have.
(right up there with Matt Hoffman etc :-)

I posted the video because ive NEVER seen anything like this in my life, "muppet" or not.

I hope everyone enjoys watching this as much as i did.

Funny, I passed someone on the canal path last night with a red front light .. or maybe he was going backwards, I didn't stop to ask, but I did nearly hit him because I thought he was going the same way as me (East to West)

Ha! Brilliant! I wonder what my chances are of getting down the Bealach na Ba like that... or the Mound?

Road Bike Party 2 is here! Martyn Ashton and two very special guests take you on a new journey with a new bike in RBP 2.
    Follow GCN on YouTube: http://gcn.eu/gcnsubs

Incredible stunts and amazing tricks all completed on a £15,000 Colnago C59 Italia? It can only be a Road Bike Party! Lycra-clad trials legend Martyn Ashton's first Road Bike Party was a YouTube sensation, so a sequel HAD to be made, bigger and better than before! Martyn was in the middle of filming when his life was transformed by an accident during a trials display which has left him paralysed from the waist down. Courage, determination and great friends have helped Martyn to complete his vision for what a Road Bike Party is.

Road Bike Party 2 features special guest appearances from two trials riding and YouTube legends, and music from Catfish and the Bottlemen with "Rango" (http://gcn.eu/1gVfrB5) and Capella.

In the words of Mr Ashton, "Party on"!

No bikes were harmed in the making of this film.

Cycled up this road in Norway many years back, as part of a 5000km tour of Scandinavia.
It is truly an amazing place to cycle. Only a handful of mountain roads are steeper than 1 in 10 so not to bad for touring.
